Rising exports out of North America are a prominent trend in 2025.
ITP’s projections for global trade volume have consistently been within two percentage points of final data. The trend in global trade volume generally indicates the trend in global demand, given supply availability.
Particularly large percentage gains are projected on North America’s exports of PVC (uncompounded polymer) to Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. Exports to Western Europe are off sharply, as more polymer enters that region from Asia-Pacific.

The most current statistics available for the US, through July 2025, show large volumes and high percentage gains to Turkey, Vietnam, Mexico and others. Prices remain at record low levels.
