The United States exported 1.8 million tons of LNG in November 2017, setting another record. The average price picked up slightly from the prior month, to $214/ton.
Year to date, the US has exported 13.7 million tons of LNG, up 346%. There has been a strong upward trend in US shipments of LNG throughout most of the year with several new highs reached.
Leading export destinations included Korea, Mexico, China, Jordan, Japan, Kuwait, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Turkey, Brazil, Argentina and others.
