The highest percentage gains were on imports of polypropylene, 96,000 tons, up 39% through June, and propylene copolymers, 40,000 tons, up 64%.

The largest volume polyolefin import into Russia, HDPE, totaled 183,000 tons, up 24%, Ukraine and South Korea top volume and growth suppliers. Imports of LLDPE rose 26%, to 67,000 tons, South Korea, Finland and Poland heading the list of sources. LDPE imports rose 10%, to 33,000 tons, polymer sourced mainly from Western European countries.
