In 2015, several countries reported exports of butylene to Saudi Arabia totaling over 46,000 tons. Through April, 2016, over 44,000 tons have already been shipped to that market.

Belgium was the leading exporter to Saudi Arabia in 2015, shipping 23,000 tons, followed by Qatar with 12,000 tons and South Korea and Taiwan, with smaller volumes.

Through April 2016, Belgium reported shipments to Saudi Arabia of 21,000 tons; South Korea exported 8,000 tons; Taiwan, 5000 tons.
