17 Million Tons of Ethylene Polymers Projected to be Exported out of the Middle East in 2017, up 9%

Exports from the Middle East to all other regions of LDPE/LLDPE, HDPE, EVA and Ethylene Copolymers (Ethylene-alpha-Olefins Copolymers plus Other Ethylene Copolymers) are projected by International Trader Publications to be up 9% at yearend 2017 versus 2016, to 17.1 million tons. This is an increase of 1.4 million tons from the prior year.

Middle East exports to Asia-Pacific are projected to be up 14%, to 12.5 million tons. Exports to Eastern Europe are also projected to show a gain, up 5%, to 1.2 million tons. Shipments to Western Europe and Africa, however, are projected to be down by 11% and 2%, respectively.
