The US exported 5.4 million tons of LNG in January 2020, up 99% from January 2019 on much higher volumes to traditional markets, plus shipments to new markets.
Exports increased to top destinations: Korea, UK, Turkey, Japan, Spain, France and India. In addition, US export statistics reported shipments to Netherlands, Greece, Brazil, Taiwan, Chile, Bangladesh, Jordan, Belgium and many others that had not been sent LNG in January 2019.
