The US exported 11. 4 million tons of ethylene polymers in 2022, up 24% from the prior year. Shipments increased to every world region and nearly every country.

As prices trended sharply lower, US export statistics for ethylene polymers, all grades combined, showed a new record in December 2022 of one million tons, and a total for the year of 11.4 million tons, up 24%.

Exports to every world region increased, led by Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Exports to Canada of one million tons YTD were up 5%.
