China exported 25,000 tons of polypropylene homopolymer in April, 2016, the highest monthly volume on record.

Year to date through April, exports totaled 75,000 tons, up 38% from the prior year, Vietnam  the top export destination. Although China’s imports far exceed exports, exports have been trending higher while imports are declining. In addition, shipments of a number of products made from polypropylene have also been strong.
