The Middle East imported 30,000 tons of PMMA polymer in 2015, and 25,000 tons of PMMA sheet.

Imports of polymer in 2015 were up 7% from the prior year; imports of sheet were down 5%. The Asia-Pacific region was by far the largest supplier to the region.

Middle East imports of both polymer and sheet showed strong growth through July 2016, up 36% and 29%, respectively, from July 2015 YTD, based on preliminary data.
