After trending higher from the beginning of the China, China’s exports of PVC hit a new record high in May 2014 of 131,000 tons for the month.

Year to date, China exported over 460,000 tons of polymer, up 14%. Notwithstanding  reports that as of April anti-dumping duties had been applied by India on PVC imports from China and others, China’s exports to India in May more than doubled from April, to over 50,000 tons, and exports YTD to India were over 168,000 tons, up 52%.
