The US exported 9.1 million tons of LNG through August 2017, up 358% from the same period in 2016. There were exports to many new markets, plus higher shipments to some of the same markets as in 2016.
LNG Global Trade up 11% Through July
The volume of liquefied natural gas traded globally through July 2017 exceeded 150 million tons, up 11% from last year, based on latest available trade statistics.
Cuba’s Polymer Imports
Cuba’s largest polymer imports are HDPE, LDPE and PET. Sizable volumes of polyethylene bags/sacks and polyethylene film/sheet are also imported. Volumes rose sharply in 2015 versus 2014.
PVC Floor and Wall Coverings: Current Global Trade Trends
Nearly 3 million tons of flooring and wall coverings made from PVC were traded globally in 2014, up 11% from the prior year. Trade volume through June of 2015 was flat with last year, based on reporting countries. Global trade volume is an indicator of global demand. Continue reading
